Noon hour escape from work for a skate ski. Trails had been groomed recently, but had seen very heavy skier traffic. It was still fairly easy to get edges to hold on the skate lane, and the classic tracks were well defined. The snow was still powdery. Overall Mooney's Bay offers a great opportunity to ski in almost the center of the city. It's amazing how many kilometers of trail are compressed into such a small area.

The indoor facility will be open from mid December through early March (weather permitting), at the following times: 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday.
