Some days, ya gotta have faith!!! Went skate skiing!
Difficult road conditions in the city, left me wondering if I had made the right decision.
But Demsis was hard at work clearing parking lots and grooming from P10 to the Champlain lookout. I skied on a moderately firm to soft, groomed surface. Classic tracks were set on the left side.
As I finished my session, the groomer was re-doing that section.
Surprisingly enjoyable outing!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
