Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: Unknown, Grip Wax:

Lots of snow left up on the Champlain, but its sloogy. I thought I was tired, butit was sooo slow today. Trying to skate was hampered by a buildup of wet snow on your skis making them heavy, and a need to shake them off periodically. The parts at the bottom of hills was the worst, you kind of sink into it. Its the last days....

We have been shortchanged this winter of ski weather by an entire month, according to my records. The grooming was much better than last winter as Demsis kept things going in the multiple thaw/freezes.
To all those that go south, I miss winter, the way it was.
