Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, #8, #31, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Another great skiing day, my short route was from P7=>#30=>#1=>#8=>#31=>#30=>P7. Ridge road was groomed today just great, I decided to try out trail #8 today first time this year, I skied it from Ridge towards P7.

The first big downhill has a rock showing but its at the top of the hill so you can avoid it, After that the other descents are good, the only problem as you can see on the last picture, is once you get past the house at the bottom of the final descent and stat climbing again thats where you encounter this small uncovered ditch, but I was climbing so no problem, but if you were coming in the other direction would need an abrupt stop.

Lets hope that friday's forecast of plus 7 and rain changes, in the meantime we can enjoy 2 more good days.
