Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: #7, #15 (blue), #35, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
Moorside to Pink Lake via trail 7, returning via 35 and 15. What a fantastic day! The tracks were just perfect, providing a lovely glide without being slippery. The snow was nice and powdery, just right for going at the exact speed you wanted on the downhill, fast or slow, your choice. Moorside was a delight as always. We went late so it was quiet on the way back but the parking lot was still quite full when we arrived at 3 PM. We avoided the black section of trail 15 on the way home and returned via the Gatineau and Champlain Parkways and the last section of 7.
Best conditions of the season, for us. Glad everyone else had a lovely day, too.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
