Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #51, #54 (green), #55 (green - shared), #55 (green - alternative), #55 (blue - alternative), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

A change of scenery today, started from P19=> #50=>#51=>#55=>#54 back on #55=>#50 to P19. A very nice day today, trail #50 in great shape, #55 nice except certain parts near Renaud lake the Groomer pulled up a few small stones in the tracks otherwise ok.

Now the fun part!!! Trail #54 Green sure had a lot of damaged from last June's heavy rains. Most of the trail has been groomed by snowmobiles. As you can see in the pics there is a detour of roughly 100 feet or so, and the detour route is icy and not much snow on it. You also get a good warning sign on the way back. Many skiers take there skis off and walk up and down. It is skiable if you proceed with caution.

The first Danger sign you see on the trail #54 is at the Bridge but the trail is good on that part. I can see were people who stay overnight at Lusk might be a bit of a challenge getting there with all the gear .
