Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #5 (green), Glide Wax: Swix CH7, Grip Wax:
Happy New Year. The parkway was groomed down to P3 (Gamelin). Trail 5 is in good shape for both classic and skating. The middle of the trail 5 on the "Gat-zilla" hill (final hill climb of Gat Loppet a few times), is getting scraped away with people going downhill. Other than that, solid coverage. There appears to be no grooming on trails 26 and 29 although both are very skiable.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
