Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #2 (from #40 to #1), #24, #40, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Decided to venture out around Western chalet, started from P12=> #40=.#2=>#1=>#24=>#40=P12. All the trail in that area have been compacted even trail #33, all in good shape but narrower then usual, but no Classic tracks yet, I guess they are waiting for more snow.
You get a good idea by looking at the first pic from Ridge road out past Western, to see how narrow it is. I noticed the new website of cross country conditions its either recommended or not recommended or no information there is nothing in between?. At least last year we had another option of Fair conditions.
The scenery with the snow on the trees is just spectacular on a nice cold sunny day!!!!
