Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: North Loop, Glide Wax: Swix CH7, Grip Wax:
We skied a few loops on Boxing Day afternoon between P8 and P9. Coverage is OK, but you can go down to pavement if not attentive. I would recommed rock skis. We also made an aborted attempt to ski from P3, but it was really easy to go down to pavement. Parkways were groomed. After the Tuesday/Wednesday snowfall that is coming, the conditions on the parkways will be perfect. Go and enjoy!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
