Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: Vauhti Blue, Grip Wax: NA
Got out for a ski after work. There is still plenty of snow in the P10 area on the parkways, Ridge, Burma etc. Of course, there are some thin spots in the usual places, but you can ski without thinking about taking your skis off for quite awhile.
As you might guess, it was rutted and frozen pretty sold at 7pm, but that didn't stop us from enjoying still being able to ski, or from enjoying the sunset. Of course, I'd recommend during the warmer periods of the day. It should be good for a few days yet.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
