Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: Vauhti HF Yellow, Grip Wax: NA

It was a pretty much perfect day for spring skiing. We started from P9 because P10 was full! We skied up the parkway, up Burma, past Champlain, back to Keogan following the Parkway, along Ridge to Chicken Run, around the racing trail, and then home. Obviously, conditions are variable and the snow is dirty, but there is generally very good coverage. We took off our skis in one or two places where you might expect to, but most of what we skied has quite a bit of snow left. A few more days are waiting for you if you are keen. Given that grooming isn't happening any more, keep in mind that you will want to go only when it is warm enough that things are soft!
