Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1 Penguin Climb, #1, #1B, Glide Wax: toko LF orange, Grip Wax: Toko universal ironed in + Vauhti silver plus

My suggestion for this afternoon would be either to come down with a nasty but indiscernible disease or a have a long lost relative twice removed die, drag yourself away with drama and head for the hills. Don't be put off by the state of the parkway at P5. Clatter your way to the base of Penguin where you will be greeted by some superb grooming and fast snow, all the way to Western and beyond I suspect. The skiers I saw out all seemed to have a smug grin. The skating looked wicked but with some great tracks and a wax combo working I was not jealous at all. With only one potential ER moment on the descent of penguin and the dicky patches well marked I chalked up another brilliant ski. Demsis have been saving the best to last something we are grateful for in the house at least.
