Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1B, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #2 (from #40 to #1), #24, #40, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Nice sunny day to be out there with fast conditions. Started from P12 : #40=>#2=>#1B=>#1=>#24=>Bench on #40=>P12. More people out today then last weekend, they had the difficult conditions banner hanging from the parking lot sign.

Although it had trail #2 marked with a RED X on the website, I decided to inspect it myself going up, I found nothing wrong with it as you can see on the pictures, but I suspect they found it too hard or icy to mark it as safe. There is still a real good base on most trails, the only thin and icy spot I saw was on Ridge at the Bench past Western. Should be another nice day tomorrow for skiing.
