Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #3, #18, #21, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Blue

Everything was magic today. The parkways were in top shape, Ridge was beautiful in both directions from Fortune, Burma was good also, if a bit soft compared to the other trails. Ridge and Burma are both still a bit soft at the edges, so that a pole occasionally vanishes under 18 inches of snow. Perhaps it is becasue of the poor packing done earlier in the season, however it is a trivial detail at this point.

The back trails were also so beautiful today that I ventured out on 18, 21 and on the flatter bit of 11. They were wonderful - only one skier had been there ahead of me.

One comment about the parking. P10 was filling up by noon. There was a sign stating it was full while it still had room for at least 10 cars.

I thought today was the micest ski of the year. Get out and enjoy it if you possibly can.
