Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (blue), #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #2 (from #40 to #1), #24, #40, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Just a short run today, to Western from P12. Like Jo-Ann mentioned slow going and poles would think down even in the center of the trail. Because of the strong winds some debris on the trails, small branches. If you are heading down to Western chalet beware its not just rocks showing but big patches of dirt showing too, right after the intersection of #9 trail, so I just took my skis off and walked down.

As I left shortly after 5, conditions were already starting to change much faster conditions. I expect the groomers to be out late tonight or early morning to get the trails ready for the Loppet.
