Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #3, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: Vauhti Spektra Blue, Grip Wax: Vauhti Teho Green + Carrot

No shortage of snow right now. The conditions and grooming are excellent - full marks today. I skied the Fortune Practice/Race Course this morning, then Ridge to Huron and back down Burma to Chalet des Erables.
- I'll echo Karl about the race course, its easily as much fun as Burma for skating. Enjoy it!
- Ridge is looking great. Its been widened and leveled nicely. The classic tracks are full depth and firm while the centre skate lane is firm and level. (See rain can be good - in small doses!)
- The Parkways are wider than I've seen them in the past 3 years. They are nicely level across the entire skate lane. The classic tracks are beautiful and deep.
- Burma is quite nice. Its set for classic and skate with room enough for each. Its more level and firm than the past few weeks, making for great skiing.

Enjoy it today and tomorrow...who knows what we'll have after that.
