Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #3, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: Vauhti Green, Grip Wax: Vauhti Fluor Orange

I skied last night on Ridge Road, Fortune Parkway, the Fortune Racing Loop, and a bit on Burma. I echo Anna's comments. The parkway, Ridge, and even Burma were firm, freshly groomed, and nicely trackset. Nice to see that Burma is coming along well given the upcoming Gatineau Loppet weekend. Cross your fingers!

The Camp Fortune racing trail was in the best shape for skating that it has been this year. It is firm and about as smooth as you could hope for given base we have. The whole loop is in good shape. No classic tracks yet, but it is a good time on skate skis. Go hard and it will test you!

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
