Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #36 (black), #36 (blue), Glide Wax: Vauhti LF Violet, Grip Wax: Vauhti Fluor Silver with a few layers of Vauhti Fluor Violet underneath.

We skied from O'Brien on 36 to the 50, and then along that to the junction with 52. 36 is passable but rough. There are some rocks poking through on a couple of the big downhills and it is quite bumpy.

Trail 50 was in great shape for classic skiing. Obviously groomed overnight and the tracks were deep, straight and firm. While I wasn't skating, I did note that the skate lane had a ridge along the side of it that would have likely made things a bit awkward.

More snow is on the way, which should continue to help improve the conditions.
