Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (from #40 to #1), #3, #9, #33, #40, #20, #21, #28, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Nice pleasant day after last nights snow, started from P12 on #40 which had been groomed, next up #33 no rocks at all, then on #21 right to the end junction with Burma. Decided on a trail which I had not done in a few years # 28 Remparts, what a blast, I was the first one on it today, went right up to the lookout and back down was fun with all that new snow made it enjoyable (lots of deep snow there).

After that run down #28 took a right on Burma #3 no grooming but lots of traffic already, then another right on Western #9, and right again on #20. They had cleared the fallen branch on #20 since the last time I was out there.

The lake or pond had a few slushy sections on it. Then back on #21 for a short while to connect to trail #2 black which I went down and it had been groomed too. After going down #2 , it was kind of bumpy and uneven with a few ruts on it, I got the impression that it is sometimes better going down it not being groomed. All in all one of the best ski days so far!
