Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #6, #30, #19, #34, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue

Skied Friday afternoon. Skyline and trails around Ryan radio tower were as good as can be for this level of snow. Only saw one rock, hit none. Some icy spots above Wattsford Lookout with a few flecks of gravel. Those human groomed backtrails were unsullied by snowshoes (except some older, somewhat snowcovered prints) and had been skied just enough to be quick and firm but not so much as to be pounded in, hard or icy. I suspect the cold temps this weekend might keep them that way.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
