Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Glide Wax: Vauhti Blue, Grip Wax: Vauhti Tar -1 to -6, covered with Vauhti Fluor Orange

There is a dusting of 2 cms or so of dry powder on top of a firm base. Champlain parkway, though not groomed since the snowfall, is in good shape for either classic or skate. The skate lane on Ridge Road between Penguin and Keogan has been groomed since the snowfall. The classic tracks have not been, but remain o.k. in most places.

I didn't see rocks anywhere other than near the top of Penguin.

If you dress warmly enough, there should be some great skiing this weekend in the Park!

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
