Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, #1B, #24, Glide Wax: Vauhti Green, Grip Wax: Vauhti Fluor Orange

We are finally getting some of what we rightfully deserve, I think.

While I didn't see evidence of grooming overnight or this morning as I skied, the fresh snow coming down is making things better from many perspectives. Most of Ridge Road has good coverage, but watch out for the odd icy patch and rock in obvious places (like most steep hills). While I didn't get that far out, Ridge Road beyond the 1A-1B split was probably the nicest non-parkway skiing to be had this morning, for either classic or skate.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
