Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (blue), #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #2 (from #40 to #1), #24, #40, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Nice sunny day, trail # 40 had been groomed 2 days ago decent classic tracks, but the middle was uneven and had foot marks. Ridge from #24 to #2 had one good classic track on one side the other side was fair, uneven or had none at all.

Trail # 2 had very good classic tracks from Western all the way to the big hill (#2 black). Be CAREFUL on the way to Western chalet unless you have rock skis , best to take them off before the hill as there are many small stones on the surface. Also the hill up from the parking lot at P12 is icy, but skiable just have to be careful going down .
