Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Glide Wax: Vauhti Blue, Grip Wax: Vauhti Fluor Violet

Gatineau Parkway between P8 and Pink Lake was being groomed while I was skiing this morning. There were new classic tracks on both sides, but as of about 11:30, the skate lane had not yet been regroomed. The now is primarily fresh, fast, and of medium firmness, making for quite nice skiing overall.

The section of Ridge Road from the old Visitor Centre to the Gatineau Parkway is thin but skiable. It has been packed, but not trackset. There have also been alot of people walking and snowshoeing on this section.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
