Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, MacKenzie-King Rd , Glide Wax: violet, Grip Wax: blue
We skied back and forth between Black Lake and Pink Lake. There were some very happy faces out there this afternoon!! Lots of fresh snow was down and it was still falling. We made our own slow classic tracks. The skaters appeared to be working even harder!! Some sort of magic carpet groomer came by a couple of times, but it really didn't seem to firm up the snow at all.
With a thorough grooming tonight, and a chance to firm up, I expect the trails could be absolute magic tomorrow!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
