Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: North Loop, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR30

Just a hasty ski on the doldrums before sunset. I would have indicated \\\"poor\\\" if the option had been possible. Certainly, in my mind, not worth paying the full price ($13.)of a day pass.

The skate lane was the kind that makes me feel old and decrepit and inspires me to stay home and clean sinks. Since the last grooming, too many skiers have passed that way and worn the track to a hard, shiny and un-edgable ( at least for me) state. The classic track was quite good, thin in a few places, icy in spots and the wind had blown in some debris in places.

Today\\\'s wind and cold temperatures, as well as the lack of fresh snow have certainly played roles in today\\\'s conditions. Let\\\'s hope for better tomorrow.
