Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy , Fortune Pkwy, North Loop, #32, Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Toko Super Blue

A patchwork of conditions, from freshly groomed, beautiful track to old hard-packed skating and stale "squirrely" (to quote Ken) classic track. The skate lanes didn't appear to have had much attention at all, and would have been too stale and hard packed for ME to enjoy.
Gatineau Parkway: very good classic for the most part, but an old tired skate lane. Watch out if you are skiing in the dark: there is one patch of pavement in the classic track under the bridge at P5.
Champlain Parkway: beautiful from Mica to Kingsmere, then the fresh grooming suddenly stopped.
Fortune Parkway: Mostly good classic, except for a couple of thin parts on the final descent.
