Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #15 (black), Glide Wax: vauhti blue, Grip Wax: vauhti violet - but bring silver along in case it warms up

Today we mostly skied on the ungroomed, narrow trails which were actually pretty good. There is a hard base because of the freezing rain last week with some nice powder on top, so your poles don't go through and there are no rocks showing, but it is also not at all icy. Lots of fun, if you like that kind of skiing. We did check out the parkway and it looked nice. There is a tiny bit of fresh snow on top of slightly old grooming which made it great skiing.
