Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, Glide Wax: Vauhti glide Wet One -1 to +10, Grip Wax: universal klister

Classic skied the 50 from P16 towards the 52 and back. New overnight tracking at a mostly mid to shallow depth, a bit bumpy with some ice clumps here and there and a hardened base. Fair to good with a 3.5 snowflake rating. Not complaining as I was relieved to have at least skiable conditions. Universal klister wasn't an exact match for the conditions which gave a little too much grip at times and compromised glide. I could've used my skins but didn't feel like going back to the car after finishing the big climb from the Meech Valley bridge. On the way back I walked the descent back to the bridge. Too fast and icey thin for me.
