Gatineau Park

Nice skiing today - and lots of people out to enjoy the new snow and grooming. I didn't venture far from P8-P5, but conditions on the parkway were pretty good (and Ridge/Penguin were tracked and looked good from Penguin Picnic ground area). Classic tracks aren't quite smooth yet (a mix of powder, a bit of ice) but pretty good, and skating looked good (though maybe a tad slow with the cold, dry snow).
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
