Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #40, #1 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Skate ski to Fire Tower
- The pessimist: laborious skiing on dirty, soft, fast-disappearing snow with multiple interruption (washouts, bare and almost bare patches requiring sketchy avoidance moves)
- The optimist: beautiful spring ski in glorious summer weather, with long stretches of good quality skiing and only a few short portages.
It's all a matter of perspective... Whatever you decide to do, ski safe and smart: there is a fast-increasing number of hazards. some of them very visible, others less so.
Enjoy!
