Went out for my first ski today. It was lovely. There is a hard icy base with a bit of new snow on top. They had even been by with the groomer. The tracks they set had pavement and grass spots in them closer to P10 but got better coverage as I headed towards Champlain. Rock ski\'s are still the better choice. Skating looked pretty good as well.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
