Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Glide Wax: \ / rills., Grip Wax:

Beautiful skiing morning with great conditions! Hope you got out to enjoy, but don't fear there are many days left...even if it rains.

Trail #31 was a bit dirty, but Ridge was great and clean. Burma was ungroomed??

The craziest thing I saw today wasn't the five women in the pink wigs, but the snowballs that had been plowed off the parkways! I can see the groomers wanting to level the trails off, but why not plow the snow into the middle and help prolong the season. But they chose to plow the snow off... sadness.

Lots of kids out today as March Break is in full swing. Chelsea Nordiq was having a cookie party - thus the women in wigs. Skinouk, Kanata and Nakkertok kids were out in numbers too. Great day for it.
