Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #1B, Glide Wax: HF, Grip Wax:

There's lots of heavy fresh snow falling steadily and accumulating nicely. It looks like a winter wonderland again! But, it was a bit of a slog at noon hour today. The morning grooming was well buried on Ridge and the parkway. I noticed some flatness on #3, so it must have been groomed as well.

Except for the really skied in sections of the trails there was very little glide out there. Even still skating was the better choice of techniques! Fresh falling snow at 0C seemed to be causing problems for every classic skier I saw out there. Once this significant accumulation is packed the park will be in excellent shape!
