Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

This is a late report for Tuesday 23 night. Late afternoon skate ski to Western intersection.
Surprising ski in several respects:
- the snow was actually quite pleasant: slow but good in the deeper fine snow in shaded areas, faster on the grey "soft ice"
- the groomer was coming up FP at 7 pm (!)
- the number of people out: P10 was full at 7pm!
Now, not much skiing left on this stretch. While the climb and other shaded areas have good coverage, there are large bare spots at the usual spots (before gossip corner and at all 3 lookouts). did not take my (rock) skis off, but it involved some grass "running". And the yellow line shows through in many places all along. Another 24/48hrs left of skiing in this area?
