Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, MacKenzie-King Rd , Glide Wax: Liquid cheater's wax to plus 5, Grip Wax:

David's report saves me from having to write a detailed report! I also skied from P6 but skated between Mulvihill, P5 and Pink. I was really surprised to have such a good ski and stayed out longer than planned. I was also surprised at the number of cars at both P6 and P5. Each was at least half full, surely more than previous years. I hope David is correct about the snow lasting for skating, but there were many growing bare spots and yellow lines showing through the pavement. I will post a few extra photos on my blog, musicianonskis.ca/blog

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
