Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: , Glide Wax: Swix LF8, Grip Wax: Swix VF40 over Vauhti tar

Continuing on from Jo-Ann’s report... Conditions just kept getting better - skied classic between the water-tank on #24 and Lac Bourgeois - not missing anything - just enjoying the great snow conditions. The classic tracks were unbelievably fast with good kick (with fluor wax) - the skate lane was soft and a touch on the slow side but still good. Some people were having trouble with sticky-snow. The big track-setter passed me on Champlain and again on Fortune on the way back to P10 - he seems to be doing the parkway loop while the snow keeps coming - a great job. With a bit of frost tonight the conditions should be super-beau tomorrow morning. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll try to get out there as early as Jo-Ann.
