Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1 Penguin Climb, #1, #1 (black - Chelsea), Glide Wax: Star Warm NF liquid, Grip Wax: Universal Klister

Definitely felt like I lucked out this morning. Found fresh grooming on the parkway and on Ridge from P5 to Fortune parkway. If you have the time and are into the whole skiing in shorts type of thing, this could be your day. There are bare spots here and there and some dirty snow but conditions were otherwise very good. One thing to watch out for - if you are coming down Penguin there are bare patches near both the lookout and right at the beginning of the last few steep pitches. You MIGHT clear them with sufficient speed and a well-timed jump but I don't think most people would want to take that on.
