Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: #40, #1 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Waxless
Simple route today from P12 via 40 and 1 to the Fire Tower. We only needed to remove skis once on the return down the steep hill near the Wolf Tr (and also close to P12). There was fresh grooming but its likely getting to the end of that. The snow condition was quite soft which led to a fairly slow ski. It was so warm and sunny we needed just shorts and T-shirt.
Tomorrow promises to be a repeat of these conditions.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
