Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #3, Glide Wax: Ch 8, Grip Wax: VR50

Lots of fresh snow and it kept falling! Perhaps as much as 10 cm. At 8:45 P10 was almost deserted. With the new snow, it was a pleasant surprise to find classic tracks on the "up escalator" of the Fortune Parkway. They were fairly recent, perhaps an hour or two old. Two minutes in, the groomer passed by and finished the "down escalator". Fortune, Ridge and Burma were deserted. Ridge appeared to have been groomed some time in the morning. Burma was not groomed but was delightfully inundated in fresh snow. No moose today. By 11:00 the Fortune Parkway was quite busy.

By 11:00 the snow was feeling more like snow man snow than powder. Let's hope the temperatures stay below zero. How wonderful it is to have some fresh snow!
