Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: North Loop, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: silver klister

A late afternoon ski on the North Loop. Temps at 8c and slushy tracks in the sun heading north from P8 but firmer/harder tracks heading back from P9 due to shade on the other side. Slow going on the wet snow, but much easier glide and speed on the harder tracks. Silver klister worked well giving good grip on the hard tracks, slippy in the slush. Looks like classic is just about done with the warm weather on the Ottawa side, at least the areas I frequent. Time to get my money's worth from my GP pass..
