Green Belt

Trails Skied: SHE FULL, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: silver klister

Classic skied the loop beside the Rockliffe airport for the first time. Tracks were good, slushy in the sun and icey in the shade. Starting to show signs of spring with a few small areas of ground/grass showing through. Probably the last week for this section. The stretch along the river was good, well formed tracks but mostly icey hard base due to the tree shade. Silver klister worked ok, but with some slippage. Had to stop several times to remove debris from my skis. I also brought my skins but left them in the car. I don't think they would have been any better. Nothing for the fur/fuzz to grip onto..
