Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy [1.4km], Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: silver klister
As expected classic conditions in GP were fair at best after yesterday's big meltdown and rain. Needed a quick exercise ski and anything on the Ontario side would have been worse. No grooming of course as Demsis is waiting for the freezeup tonight. Tracks were shallow the snow wet and the going slow but not too bad. Silver klister gave ok grip. Just me and one other classic skier out this afternoon between P8 and P5 towards the CP junction. Temps were dropping and wet snow/rain starting just as I ended my run. Perfect timing.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.

The NCC also maintains a grooming report on-line. If you encounter people walking on groomed trails, you are best advised to contact the NCC. They are responsible for the enforcement on this so report those trail wreckers whenever you see them by calling 819-827-2020 (Visitor Centre), or email info@ncc-ccn.ca.
