Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 101 North, OWWT - TCT - South to Corkstown Rd, OWWT - Watts Creek - TCT West to Moodie Dr, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

The grooming on the Watts Creek path is holding up really well, considering the heavy use it's experiencing with the perfect weather this weekend. The TCT has more wear to the classic tracks but it still pretty good. Still no ice except for one tiny spot on the Watt's Creek trail under the rail bridge. Almost no debris on the trails. We've been spoiled by so much near-perfection for the past while, it'll be hard to adjust to variable conditions again when the warm days come next week.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
