Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1B, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #3, #24, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR40

Another joint report from the Garry-Jo-Ann team and an enjoyably memorable day! Perfect grooming, and lots of space for skiing. I can't believe it was our first time this year skiing on Burma, 1B and 24. What a treat!
The 5 cm of fresh snow which fell yesterday made for quite a slow, powdery ski. There was finally complete coverage everywhere.
Now that Covid restrictions are easing, the classic tracks are again taking a hit from weekend skate groups. These skiers, focused on speed and togetherness frequently seem to have a blind spot for classic tracks.
When we finished the ski before 11:00 P10 and P9 looked very busy.
All in all a fabulous ski day!
