Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #54 (green), #55 (green - shared), #54 (black), Glide Wax: blue, Grip Wax: green

Skied out of P20 on Sunday on some fresh snow. Busy trails as the temperature warmed up a little bit and the fresh snow made for good conditions. No fresh grooming after the overnight snowfall but the tracks were skied in which made for good grip and glide.

Skied down to the end of the Lac Phillippe and then turned up 54 black to Lusk Lake. There is enough snow on 54 black to make it skiable but only just. Met one guy coming down who said he found the descent pretty tricky - but he had made it in one piece! I found signs that a larger group had skied in from the top end at Lusk Lake and then turned off onto old trail 10 so that's likely broken out now as well. A little more snow this week should improve this trail immensely.

Descent down 54 to Renaud was pleasant and a little tour along 55 to Taylor was equally nice.
