Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, #14, Camp Fortune Race Course, #31, Glide Wax: Vauhti Cold, Grip Wax: Vauhti orange, covered with a bit of vauhti blue.or green

The wind's a bit brisk but you can hide from that in the trees and the sun is out. Found very nice conditions for skating on the Camp Fortune trail, and pretty good conditions for classic or skate on Ridge Road. The climb/descent between P7 and the top isn't particularly fun right now in either direction, now matter which route you choose. There are loose rocks and pebbles and some places have acquired that scraped out/concave shape that makes your skis feel like they are going uphill in every way. Just get to the top...it gets better!..and take your time going down - would even suggest walking the worst bits.
