Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #54 (green), #55 (green - shared), #55 (green - alternative), Glide Wax: Vauhti glide -2 to -20, Grip Wax: blue extra

Glorious blue skies and mild temps today in the Lac Philippe area. Skied 54 for the first time, was expecting an easy go seeing its a green trail but quite a bit of climbing but a quick trip back. Tracks were for the most part mid depth with a pack powder/granular mix base with some glazing visible in the sun. Conditions were fast and the hard pack trails with little loose snow made for a few quick and tricky to control descents. The only bad section was around Lac Taylor were the tracks were a mixed bag of dirty snow, ice and leaves.
