Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: Swix Purple CH 7, Grip Wax:

P10 to Champlain Lookout and back. I had planned to ski further but the lack of grooming, the leaves and nasty east wind inspired me to just get some exercise and go home.

Things I was grateful for:
I was skating and didn't have to worry about oak leaves and acorns in the tracks.
There were no crowds while I was out.
The wind wasn't strong enough to knock me off my skis, although it did grab my skis and poles several times.
The smelly skidoos passed me only once.
I spotted two friends as I finished my ski.
My car started.

I'm looking forward to some sunshine and some fresh grooming.
