Green Belt

Trails Skied: SHE FULL, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra v40

Actually left from P27 and headed west. Air temp -10C but a biting wind. Balaclava needed for comfort. Beautiful day and classic track in good shape:a bit glazed and nice and fast. The one exception was the Green's Creek bridge, which had slushy, but passable, tracks. Lots of multi-use activity, with fat-bikes, walkers, snowshoers nearby, classic and and skate skiers. Got as far as Orleans west end, then turned back. Made the mistake of heading down Green's Creek, instead of just crossing the bridge. It was interesting until we iced-up near the Ottawa River; we then had to climb up the east side of the ravine and then head west again. A great way to spend the afternoon!
